VPN malfunctioning after Mac OS X Yosemite upgrade

If you routinely use the UMBC VPN (https://vpn.umbc.edu) and are a Apple Mac user we would strongly recommend waiting and not upgrading to the new OSX Yosemite that came out this past Thursday 10/16. This upgrade will break the functionality of the Juniper Network Connect VPN client. DoIT will be working to test several solutions over the next few days and we hope to release an updated VPN client that will work with the new OS within a week. 

Once we have finished our testing and developed documentation for the new client we will post another news article and the Technology Support Center and Desktop Support will be prepared to assist users with any questions regarding the new client. 

If you have upgraded to Yosemite and require the VPN, go to http://rt.umbc.edu to open a support ticket and we will work with you to get you working on the new client before its officially released.
