Saydeh Karabatis has been an employee of UMBC since October 2015. She is a leading member of the REX-Finance team and has been providing financial solutions to campus. She values team work and is thankful for her part time job as it allows her continue devoting her time to her family, her studies, and to the communities where her heart points at. Saydeh earned a MS degree in Computer Science with thesis title: Providing a Semi-Transparent Access to Heterogenous Information Systems. Currently, she is a PhD student in the Information Systems Department. No topic is set yet, but she knows that she wants to work on what will help humans have a better life.
