Gradually submerging herself in the field of Educational Technology, Jalisa Monroe is the newest member in the Instructional Technology department. In December 2017, she received a Master of Professional Studies (M.P.S.) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Instructional Systems Development from UMBC.
Jalisa is the main point of contact for UMBC’s audience response device, clickers, and provides technical assistance and consultations for educational technology and applications supported by the campus such as: Blackboard, Collaborate, TechSmith Relay, and Scantrons. She also supports the campus’ initiative to improve the quality of online education and plans to become a certified Quality Matters Peer Reviewer by February 2018.
