Description
UMBC's Virtual Desktop Environment (VDE) allows users to access a virtual computer lab or staff workstation anywhere there is an internet connection, just like they were sitting at a workstation on campus. In this training you will learn:
- How to connect to the VDE
- The three different instructional "pools" available to all UMBC faculty, staff, and students, and the software available in each pool
- How to navigate the VDE interface
- How to persistently map Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive to your profile
- How to print from the VDE
- Demonstration
- Q&A
