About the Session
This training session will guide instructors through a step-by-step tutorial on how to run Akindi paper assessments.You will learn how to launch Akindi from your Blackboard course shell, create assessments, automatically scramble questions, print and scan test sheets, and analyze the results.
What is Akindi? Akindi is a web-based assessment platform that streamlines creating, administering, and grading paper and online assessments. It offers automated scoring, flexible assessment formats, and detailed analytics to help instructors save time and gain insights into student learning. It integrates seamlessly with Blackboard, simplifying roster syncing and grade return.
How do I access it? Access Akindi directly from your Blackboard course shell. Follow this guide to enable and launch Akindi. Your course roster will automatically be synced over, and student grades will be sent directly to your Blackboard gradebook.

Register for the Session
Registration for the session is required. This session will be hosted virtually using Zoom, and will be facilitated by Akindi for UMBC instructors. At least 10 registrants are required for the session to run. This session will be recorded. All registrants will receive a link to the captioned recording.
