Sprint Cellular Service on Campus
Sprint's Cellular Equipment is Down
Earlier today, the Sprint Cellular equipment on campus caught on fire. Thankfully, the fire was contained and did not spread beyond Sprint's site. Sprint came to campus to begin repair work, and they report the repairs could take 10-21 days. Sprint cellular coverage, on campus and in the area around UMBC, my be weaker than usual until the cellular site is back online.
Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile were not effected.
