This workshop focuses on core components of Blackboard Collaborate and Webex. This session is intended for novice users of the learning management system (LMS) who need to learn how to use core components & supporting technologies, or for users who want to refresh skills.
Agenda
By the end of the Blackboard Collaborate & Webex workshop, faculty should be able to:
- Access Collaborate and Webex in Blackboard
- Configure audio and camera settings
- Identify participants
- Identify tools to share content (screen, applications, files)
- Describe steps to schedule and record a session
- Communicate using chat or other responses
- Create breakout rooms and polls
At least 5 registrations are needed for this
session to proceed as scheduled. The session will be recorded if two or
more people attend and the link will be distributed to everyone who
registered.
