What best practices should we consider as we design online courses? Do our course designs work for our students? How do course design standards strengthen, rather than restrict, the quality of our courses?

Join this Candid Conversation as faculty panelists discuss elements of "good" course design and how Quality Matters has informed their course design process. Our panelists will share key takeaways from their experiences in the Quality Matters Impact program, including completing the DoIT-facilitated Applying the Quality Matters Rubric Workshop (APPQMR) and submitting their course for an official subscriber-managed Quality Matters review. Faculty will offer tips and suggestions to help improve your course design.

This session is part of the Instructional Technology Candid Conversations About Online Learning series, launched during the 15th anniversary of National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) from November 7-11, 2022.
