  • Online courses do not have the same academic rigor as in-person.
  • UMBC cannot, or should not, expand online learning.
Join our final Candid Conversation as faculty, staff, and students share how they have countered myths surrounding online learning and the student experience. As we move beyond the pandemic and consider the role online/hybrid courses may have, our panelists will offer lessons learned in designing meaningful online learning experiences. They will also share how intentional, evidence-based best practices can enhance online student support.

This session is part of the Instructional Technology Candid Conversations About Online Learning series, launched during the 15th anniversary of National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) from November 7-11, 2022.
