We are thrilled to announce the retirement celebration of our esteemed colleague, Joe Kirby ’85, information systems management, after an incredible 38 years of dedicated service to UMBC. Please join us in honoring Joe and celebrating his remarkable career achievements.

Throughout his tenure, Joe has been an invaluable member of the UMBC community, consistently demonstrating unwavering commitment, leadership, and expertise in his role. His hard work and passion have not only contributed to the success of our institution, but have also inspired countless colleagues along the way. Joe was awarded the 2018-2019 Presidential Distinguished Staff Award for Professional Staff, and you may be interested in revisiting Joe's accomplishments in 2016 during his 30 years of service.
As we gather to celebrate Joe's exceptional career journey, we invite you to share your well wishes, stories, and fond memories. We look forward to celebrating Joe's outstanding contributions and wishing him a fulfilling and joyous retirement.
