Request Tracker System Update - RT 5.0.4
We're pleased to share that Request Tracker (rt.umbc.edu) has been updated to the latest version of 5.0.4 on Wednesday, 7/19/2023. This update brings performance and quality of life improvements, and some changes that you may notice include:
Snappier Searches and New search URL shortener
RT will now shorten search URLs by default, so instead of the longer URLs previously seen when using the Query Builder, you will now see a short code in the browser URL bar. This update makes sharing searches much easier and resolves some issues with extremely long search URLs. Any existing search URLs saved as bookmarks should continue to work as normal.
Filters on each search and Jump to Page
When searching for tickets, you'll now see a filter icon for all columns. You can use this as a way to quickly and easily filter down the current search.
