Wondering how you can effortlessly transfer your course content to Blackboard Ultra? Interested in streamlining your course setup for the fall semester? Join us for an exclusive half-day boot camp designed to equip you with the fundamental skills needed to effectively prepare for Ultra. 


This essential training is ideal for instructors looking to ensure their courses are engaging and well-prepared from the start. Master the essentials of migrating existing course content from your Original course to Ultra and discover how Ultra’s AI tools can enrich and inspire your course preparation. Learn strategies to clean up and organize their course files, ensuring a sleek and efficient course environment. The workshop will also cover how to customize student access to your course content with a broad access overview of assessment creation.


Workshop Objectives

  • Explain key terms related to the Ultra Experience 
  • Discuss the key course tools and course building features of the Ultra Course View 
  • Copy content from an Original course into the Ultra Course View 
  • Build a basic course using the Ultra Course View

By the end of this workshop, faculty should have the first two weeks of their courses set up to Ultra with a clear plan to migrate the rest of their content by the start of the fall semester.


Participants may sign up for an afternoon session on one of these dates:


Tuesday, June 4

Session A: 1 PM - 4 PM


Thursday, June 6

Session B: 1 PM - 4 PM


These sessions will be facilitated by Instructional Technology staff.

Space is limited for personalized support and hands-on opportunities to practice. However, at least six participants are required for a session to proceed. If fewer participants are registered, we will invite you to join a different session.
