Use the Idea Form for a concept or initiative that you want to pursue with support from your division’s leaders, but need DoIT assistance to specify technical requirements. The DoIT PMO can assist with helping to find a solution, project discovery, stakeholder identification, and determining goals and needs.
- Required fields include: Project Goals, Strategic Alignment, and Project Sponsor.
- Optional fields include: Resources, Timeline, and Budget, if known.
- As the intention and purpose of the Idea is clarified and scoped, the Idea Form will be enhanced to develop a full Project Proposal.

Once your Idea is well-structured, has clear goals and scope, and approval from your division’s leaders, use the Project Proposal Form to submit your project to the DoIT PMO. Please keep in mind that projects in the DoIT PMO involve significant DoIT effort and require DoIT leadership approval and commitment to dedicate resources.
- Required fields include: Project Goals, Organizational Impact, Stakeholder Committees, Resources, Budget, Timeline, Risks, and Strategic Alignment.
