Description
Starting Summer 2025, DoIT introduced a new Blackboard course creation and enrollment process designed to improve roster accuracy, streamline course management, and lay the groundwork for future enhancements like direct grade export to PeopleSoft. Join us for an information session to learn about what’s changing, how it impacts you, and what steps to take if you teach multi-section or cross-listed courses.
This session will walk you through:
- The rationale for changing the course creation process
- What to expect in Blackboard with your course list and within the course itself
- How to request course merges
- A look at the new gradebook filters for section-based grading
- Resources and support available from the Instructional Technology team
Whether you teach one course or many, this session will help ensure a smooth start to the semester under the new system.
