SAP Concur Travel System – Entering the Next Phase

We’re excited to share that the SAP Concur Travel Implementation Project is entering its next major phase: testing and change management planning.
As we move forward, we want to ensure that this transition is not just about technology—but about people. Our goal is to make this change as smooth, transparent, and beneficial as possible for the entire campus community.

With SAP Concur, UMBC will benefit from:
Streamlined travel booking and expense reporting
Mobile access for submitting receipts and managing trips on the go
Improved compliance with travel policies and federal regulations
Integrated international travel support through Terra Dotta and CISI
Better visibility into travel spending and analytics
What Our Change Management Efforts Will Include
To support this transition, we are launching a comprehensive change management strategy that includes:
Stakeholder engagement: Identifying and involving key groups early to ensure their needs are heard and addressed
Targeted communications: Sharing timely, relevant updates tailored to different audiences
Training and support: Offering hands-on sessions, resources, and help channels to guide users through the new system
Feedback loops: Creating opportunities for you to share your experience and help shape the rollout
