First time login since downtime interruptions
To all HPC users,
We wanted to remind all users that the change to redundant login nodes may cause some one-time issues for returning users to the chip HPC.
Due to the additional login nodes – the first time someone logs into chip.rs.umbc.edu, your computer may notice a new IP and ask for users to accept a new SSH key (or otherwise approve that the new SSH key is acceptable).
We understand that users are using a variety of software or terminal-like applications to access chip, so please reach out via RT (link below) if you experience issues logging in to the chip cluster.
