New REX report : Curricular Interdependency Matrix
A new REX guided report is intended for departments and colleges to answer the question "Who are we teaching?" and "Who is teaching our students?". The question is only answered for undergraduate students at this time. The report can be found in REX guided reports with the following navigation.

Curricular Interdependency Matrix
Without changing any parameters the report will show the number of credit hours being taught in the current registration term by each college (the columns) broken down by the college of the student taking the class (the row).
The parameters allow you to break down the colleges into their department organizations for both the students and the courses. The courses can also be limited to specific subjects or course levels. The rows will always be related to the plan of the students taking a course. The columns will always be related to the course being offered.
The numbers (measures) can be
- Sum of Credit Hours
- Count of Graded Sections
- Count of DFW Grades
- Grade Average
Those results can be shown as
- Number
- % of row
- % of column
Here are a few questions you can answer using different parameters.
- What percentage of my courses are teaching students in another college? Which college?
- What departments outside of mine are teaching most of my students?
- What majors are having difficulty in the courses I offer?
- How does the average grade of students in my college or major compare to other colleges when taking MATH courses?
