WARNING - Report of an Insurance Scam
Scammer Claims To Be From UMBC
UMBC's Division of Information Technology (DoIT) received notification of a telephone insurance scam. The call came from 1-443-887-3438 and the caller id display UMBC.
THIS IS NOT A UMBC NUMBER!
Caller id results can be spoofed. If you get a call from someone claiming to be from UMBC and talking about insurance, PLEASE do not give the caller any personal information.
