Recommended Peripherals for Web Conferencing

For audio

USB or bluetooth should work fine, but check compatibility with your computer. Look for USB, but if your laptop doesn’t have USB ports, you will need to use Bluetooth. A noise cancellation microphone and padded ear cups are essential. You can use

For video

If your laptop or computer does not have a webcam and you want to send video, you will need to get an external webcam. Logitech makes several high-quality, reasonably priced webcams.

Document cameras

Look for portability: A folding document camera is easier to store when not in use. HD video is essential if you are planning to display fine details for experiments or demonstrations or to capture handwriting formulas.
