Getting Help

UMBC offers these resources for online support:

For help with Blackboard or teaching online, faculty can open an RT ticket directly with the Instructional Technology office.

For help with all other technology, please see these options:

Search the FAQs: Extensive collections of how-to documentation on a wide range of technologies are available for faculty and students.

Request help via RT: If you need help for any technical or University related issue, you can open an RT ticket. The Technology Support Center will assign a unique ID number to your case and assign the ticket to the appropriate office.

During extended campus closure,
please allow additional time for staff response.
