Panopto Folder Management

Description

Do you use Panopto to create video screencasts but need some assistance in  managing and organizing your video folders? Do you sometimes get confused where your videos are saved and how to move and share your videos? Do you need to copy videos into your Blackboard course from a previous course or create new Panopto videos from your media files? If so, please attend this session to ensure your video organization is optimized for the Fall semester!

 Session topics include: 
  • Panopto folder structure
  • Folder permissions and sharing
  • Copying and moving videos
  • Manual course copying 
  • Accessing videos from archive

Participants should have access to a computer that meets minimum system requirements and have the Panopto recorder pre-installed.

This session will be facilitated by Peter Ariev, Instructional Design Specialist and Ada Crutchfield, Instructional Design Specialist

This webinar will take place in a Google Meet virtual conference room. Enter the webinar up to 15 minutes before the start time. Select the "Join Online Event" button in myUMBC to join the session.
