Yuja Information Session (Oct. 16)

Description

As previously announced, UMBC is upgrading its video capture and media management tools and now has begun transitioning from Panopto to YuJa. Please join this information session to learn more about this process and to get a preview of some of Yuja's key features. 

The session will highlight some of Yuja's key features including: Blackboard integration, screencapturing options, storing and sharing media, automated captioning, and viewer and course analytics. Additionally, this session will review steps to help faculty and staff prepare for the transition, including best practices for identifying and saving their existing media content and migrating content into Yuja. Additional workshops and training resources will be forthcoming. 

The session will be hosted by, Dr. Peter Ariev, Instructional Design Specialist and Dr. Mariann Hawken, Director Instructional Technology.

To RSVP for the event, please click "Going" in the event description and be sure to add the event to your calendar! Registered participants will also receive a calendar invitation from the event host at least one week before the event.

JOINING THE SESSION

This webinar will take place in a Google Meet virtual conference room. Enter the webinar up to 15 minutes before the start time. Select the "Join Online Event" button in myUMBC to join the session.
