Are you new to remediating PDF documents? Curious about what tools you can use to create or remediate PDF files?
Join this workshop to learn how about PDF remediation tools and techniques, along with an opportunity to practice using Adobe Acrobat.
This session is designed for anyone who is tasked with creating or remediating PDF files. Whether your PDF is intended for learners in Blackboard, colleagues, or external audiences, this workshop will prepare you to improve accessibility using tools available at UMBC and best practices. Come prepared to practice with a PDF file you need to remediate.
Registrants are asked to review Remediate PDF Content with Tools and Techniques Tools such as the captioned recording or presentation (UMBC login required) prior to the workshop.
We'll cover:
- Overview of how to remediate or create accessible PDFs for all audience
- Practice & Share Demonstration Workshop
- Q&A
This session will be facilitated by Ada Crutchfield, Instructional Design Specialist. Open to any role at UMBC -- faculty, staff or student.

At least 5 registrations are needed for this session to proceed as scheduled. The session will be recorded if two or more people attend and the link will be distributed to everyone who registered.

JOINING THE SESSION
This webinar will take place in a Google Meet virtual conference room. Enter the webinar up to 10 minutes before the start time. Visit the myUMBC Event post and select the "Join Online Event" button to join the Google Meet session.
