As we continue to evolve myUMBC’s functionality beyond purely administrative functions, with a focus on communication and collaboration features, we’re seeing broad adoption of these tools by campus audiences.
The chart illustrates how a relatively small portion of the campus community only use myUMBC for core administrative functionality (Email, PeopleSoft, etc.). For on campus audiences, nearly 75% use myUMBC to view community content in the form of Posts and Events. 25% of the community not only view content, but also engage in the community by pawing stories, leaving comments, voting in polls, or saying they’re attending events.
