Campus Central Login System Outage from 9:30-10:45pm

On Tuesday April 26th, from 9:30-10:45 PM, the campus experienced a service outage on our centralized login system for myUMBC. During this time services that use UMBC's single sign on, including blackboard and myumbc, were unavailable for login.

We have been able to restart the affected servers and all services should now be functioning. We designed this service to be replicated and highly available and we will be analyzing the outage to understand the root cause of the outage and take steps to prevent this from occurring in the future.
