Indiana University's Center for Learning Analytics and Student Success (CLASS) has graciously opened up its free (and excellent) Learning Analytics Summit, "Data-informed Stories, Transformational Journeys," to be held online May 12-14 (the call for presentation proposals is due Friday, April 16).
As mentioned at the 3/11/21 UMBC presentation, "Learning Analytics and the Study of Student Grade Surprise," Dr. Jennifer Meta Robinson is a CLASS Learning Analytics Fellow who presented her findings at IU's 2019 LA Summit.
For faculty who are interested in submitting a proposal for a UMBC learning analytics "mini-grant" (due Friday, May 21), IU's LA Summit is a great way to learn more about how LA questions and problems are framed and explored.

Important: Register on IU's LA Summit site (not here). This UMBC "event" is only meant to help boost the signal of IU's good work, and identify to UMBC colleagues who is going to the virtual summit.
