On November 18th, we will highlight how to proactively create accessible content from the beginning with Office 365 and Blackboard Ally.

Being proactive and developing accessible content provides each learner with a chance to succeed in the course. Intentionally creating accessible documents makes content accessible for students of all abilities, often benefits everyone in the class, and can avoid disturbances in the learning experience.

Session objectives:
During this session, we will:
  • Identify tips to create accessible documents 
  • Discuss alternative formats for multimedia content
  • Identify and remediate content with Blackboard Ally
  • Explore ways to improve lecture capture with captions and transcripts
