Description

Are you curious about how you can step-up your grading and feedback skills within your Blackboard course? Providing constructive and timely feedback enables students to meet the goals and objectives of your course while increasing student success. This session will discuss strategies to provide better feedback, utilize Blackboard's commenting features, and introduce Blackboard’s newest annotations tool Bb Annotate.

About Bb Annotate:

Blackboard’s new annotation tool, Bb Annotate, allows instructors to easily provide markup feedback -- commenting, highlighting, drawing and using shapes/stamps, all directly into an assignment without having to switch applications or download files. Bb Annotate also allows you to save and reuse comments via the Content Library.

Session Objectives:
  • Identify features of the Bb Annotate tool
  • Use Bb Annotate to markup assignments to provide feedback
  • Examine the importance of rubrics to support the feedback process
  • Provide constructive feedback on assessments using the Bb Annotate tool
This session will be limited to 50 seats.
