RT - Web Server update
DoIT upgrading the RT web server hardware week of 6-15-2014
DoIT staff will be upgrading the Request Tracker (RT) web server hardware the week of 6-15-2014.
The exact day/time has not been finalized yet but the downtime is estimated to be very minimal and will occur in off hours. Once the day/time is determined I will share it with this group.
In the meantime I would like to request members of this group to take a few minutes and look at the development web server setup to ensure that this change has not affected anything you do currently.
Please remember the software is the same and we are just replacing the 5 year old hardware used to provide web access.
The url used for testing is rt-dev-new.core.umbc.edu
Please note you will get a security exception message and you can continue through that message.
Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Joe Kirby
