Since 2006, UMBC has participated annually in the EDUCAUSE Student and Faculty Technology Surveys (ETRAC, formerly ECAR), except in 2014. EDUCAUSE began surveying faculty in 2014; while the Student survey is released annually, the Faculty survey is now offered every other year.
